This superb open escapement clock was made by Samuel Marti and Sons of Paris in the mid 1800s. The movement is original and has been completely overhauled and restored to great working condition. The gorgeous slate and red marble case has a gleaming brass bezel door at both front and back. The pendulum is an Ellicott model - invented by John Ellicott in 1753. It strikes the hour and the half hour on a melodious silver bell. Key and pendulum are included. It measures 14 inches by 7 inches by 18 inches high.
