This is an attractive New Haven walnut cased kitchen clock and was made in the 1870-80s. It has the original pinned movement and alarm mechanism and has been completely overhauled and restored to great working condition. This makes the clock a real bargain because of the high cost of getting one overhauled & restored. The movement is the spring wound 30 hour type which actually runs for more than 2 days. The gorgeous walnut case has the original glass with its pretty colored floral designs. It strikes the hours out on a deep gong. Most of the original label remains on the back of the case identifying it as a striking alarm model. Key and pendulum are included. It measures 11 inches by 4.25 inches by 18 inches high.
